Srinagar/ Anjuman Shari Shian, Jammu Kashmir president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has asked Government of Pakistan to ensure the safety and security of minorities in Pakistan. He said Pakistan should provide a safe environment to minorities particularly people from Shia community. He said thought the incidents of violence came down drastically in Pakistan after incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan assumed charge but still a lot needs to be done to ensure security to people from Shia community. “The elements inimical to peace are targeting Shias to disturb the fabric of Pakistan which is not good for a country that is looked at the savior of Muslims across globe,” he said. Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi, who is also a senior separatist leader said that extremists who are enemies of Pakistan are trying to incite people for sectarian violence. “Pakistan must curb and punish these elements. Minorities (Shias) are being harassed on the one or other pretext and it needs to be stopped,” he said. Anjuman Shari Shian also called a meeting to look at the arrangements done in wake of the coming holy month of Ramadhan. During the meeting it was decided to organize religious programs throughout holy month of Ramadhan.
